    Hi,

I not sure is the right place to ask this, but as I'm doing it myself :) I wonder is it possible to do the following.

I have wired my house for cat5e and coax to all rooms in my new house that is currently been built, but I also want to include an alarm system and installing a security camera system also. I was hoping someone could have an answer for this one.

Is it possible to run Alarm Cable 6 Core Low Voltage, 12V as well as RG59 cable, that has power for camera's parrellel to Cat5e and Coax cable without causing interference on the network.

I have tried looking on the internet, and it is very hard to find a straight answer. If someone here had an idea, that would be great. The alarm system will not be interacting with lights or high voltage, only sensors that will run back to a box that connects to a wall unit.

    Thanks

I'm not an expert, but seeing as it's shielded there shouldn't be a problem.
