    inthegateaux you might be better off putting your cake photos in the I Like Cake thread, instead of starting a new thread for every cake?

    Lovely cake! Good job on the characters judging by the filling it sounds yum too.

    I'm very clumsy when moving cakes how do you get the cake from the pedestal to the cake box without it going flying?

    Lol lots and lots of practice!slow movements and holding my breath. After a while it gets easier. I have a turning cake stand so I slide it onto my hand and lay it on the box which I build up around it. Far easier than trying to guide it into the built up cake box :)
