I have a New York State drivers licence and have heard 2 things that I wanted to check with you to see if they are true. First, that if you are just going to drive an automatic here then you don't have to sit the test. Doesn't sound right but would be great if it was!!
Secondly that if you hold a US licence that you can drive unaccompanied as you are your own licenced driver, that the requirement is a licenced driver not an Irish licenced driver. If anyone knows if these are true or not I would really appreciate it, thanks.
