Makeup for thread/varicose veins

Can anyone reccomend a special makeup to cover thread or varicose veins? My aunt is in her late 40's and has what she thinks are thread veins on her legs. They're not raised but they are very dark (purple) in colour. They've got so bad that wearing flesh coloured tights is out of the question for her. However, she has a wedding coming up in september and would like to wear a dress for the occasion. She has been looking for make up to cover the veins but without success. She tried the vichy but it was terrible; a hideous colour of orange and it didn't even cover the veins!

Could anyone reccomend something for her? She is very pale and it would need to stay put beneath tights. Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Sally Hansen tan- you can get a light shade & i find it gives really good coverage, its almost like makeup & very easy to blend in. i find putting on body moisturiser first really helps too.

+1 on Sally Hansen, its great and its an aerosol so its good for getting even coverage on the legs. Its in Boots and most chemists and comes in different shades.

This won't work, I use this as foundation and it's just enough coverage to even out skin tone but it doesn't cover anything like freckles or the thread vein mark I have on the top of my lip.

I'd plus one sally hensen if they weren't too bad.

    What about this?

    Locations here :)

Thanks for the advice guys. :) Much appreciate it. I suggested Sally Hanson to her but she has tried fake tan (with the help of her daughter, this woman would not wear fake tan otherwise!) and it didn't cover it. They are pretty bad and I think what she needs is that cameflagoue (sp?) makeup that people need to cover tattoos, any idea where she would get it?

Anyone know where she'd get cameflague makeup?

I have a prominent scar on the side of my face and I use Estee Lauder Maximum cover camouflage makeup on it. It completly covers it up. This might work on the veins.

dior do a super concealer thats quite blendable, was recommended by some american super make up artist on one of those late late type shows, i think its dior sculpt. They do a foundation in it too which is pricey but red carpet fabulous!
