Personally I have had no work done with them but have only heard good things.

There is also Gerry at Eurotrim near Bray and I have had work carried out by him, to a high standard and very keenly priced too.

Presume its Nolans in Bluebell your talking about?

I use them alot for new car interiors, leather retro fitting etc, and can't fault them on anything. The last interior he fitted for me was a few weeks ago in a brand new Opel Insignia. It looked like the factory interior.

Talk to Derek, but you are right, they are busy at the minute.

Funny you should say that, I called Nolans last year about fitting a new hood to a 911 and they didn't want the job.

Why would someone go to the bother of retrimming a new car - why not just order it with leather in the first place? Is it a lot cheaper or something?

Yeah, its usually cheaper. Also, in the current climate, there is a long lead time on cars with extras. If you have spotted a nice car but you want leather you can either wait 8 weeks for one from the factory, or buy it and get it retro fitted cheaper.

As I said, they do a lot of new car stuff. They are busy at the minute. In saying that its no excuse to piss off a potential customer.

I dropped in to them today just to see if they could do a repair, and no problem next Monday.

Probably belongs to a mate or an employee......from the few negative replies here and my own personal experience it seems they just dont want (need) to do classic stuff...

No I asked about it. The owner has had it from new. He has had in storage for the past ten years, storage was not longer available and he had a decision to make, sell or restore, he chose the latter and it looks like a complete rebuild from what I saw.

You may be right but I have not had a negative expierence with them. That may change after next Monday.

Nolans have been in business for well over 40 years, first in Inchicore and now in Bluebell. I've been using them for the past 30 odd years. I've never had a problem with them, and they do good work. the last 2 cars I had work done on were mid 50's and quite unique.
I have no connection with them other than to have jobs done.

I emailed them last week for a quote on fixing my car's headliner and they got back to me within a day, so it seems they are interested in taking on work.
