Right, I currently have a 3GS and I connect it to me laptop for iTunes. Now I have the opportunity to buy a 3GS for €100, bit to good of a deal to refuse if you ask me! What I wish to know if that if i connect it to the same laptop, is this possible? Will it effect either when syncing? In intending on having the same music etc on each so I don't mind wiping the stuff on the one in buying.

Also one last question, my 3GS is in perfect condition and only a few months old so has some warranty. My friends is older maybe 8/9 months and not in the best condition. What are each of them worth? And would it be possible to sell them ad have enough money for an iPhone 4?!

    Many thanks
    Conor

Last time I looked envirophone were offering €245 for a 3GS 16gb. Worst case you can go with them.
Saying that, I sold mine last week for €265 on adverts.ie. That was unlocked with 9months warrenty...

You can definitely use 2 phones on 1 iTunes. You just need to create another library. Google is your friend on this one. Myself and the girlfriend have done this.

No idea what the current value of phones is. Adverts.ie might give you an idea of what they're being sold for at the moment.

Also it's on vodafone how long does he have to be with them to get it unlocked for free? And can a vodafone shop do it?

no problems at all, my two cousins have iPhones but dont have iTunes. ive set up both of them and just renamed them to my cousins names so when theire synced and updated they get the proper back up etc

when i go into my devices, the 2 phones are there as back ups and i just manually sync them.

Change of plan, carphone warehouse said he could get a galaxy s or something for €100, turns out they were wrong. Didn't realise he upgraded to an iPhone. So no cheap iphone for me :-( ah well
