Beginner screen printing kit advice

Hey, I'm looking to start doing some screen printing (nothing remotely professional, just as a hobby for myself).
Searching led me to this http://www.corkartsupplies.com/store/product/18517/Screen-Printing-Set-%28System3%29-/ which looks pretty decent just have a few questions.
If I bought that kit, what would I use as an exposure unit?
As for printing the laminates, is there any shop in town (Dublin) that will print them at a cost because I can't afford to spend several hundred on a printer :p

Lastly, are there any shops in Dublin where I could buy a kit like that instead of buying online?

    Thanks in advance :)

Hi, just came across this and its way late so I'll be brief, have a look here-

    http://www.serigraf.ie/

Excellent source of info and supplies. I can go into more detail later in a later post if your interested.

OK, I had a look at the kit you mentioned and it is VERY basic. Its using System 3 Acrylic Paint as a medium when mixed with the two additives, one for paper and board and the other for textiles.
You won't need an exposure unit as far as I know because it would appear it uses a direct stencil method by using drawing fluid and screen block, so you "paint" your stencil on and just allow to air dry. This is from the same site explaining some of the products in more detail-

The mesh is probably fairly course as well, at a guess probably a 60 dot count to be general enough to print on all substrates, so fine detail may be lost in the process of printing. I should of course mention this kit only has one screen so multi colour prints could be problematic- its probably best for single colour prints. It will serve as an intro but don't expect high end results. Its good value for the price point though.
There are other methods that break down into direct and indirect stencil techniques, which I can explain further if your interested.

Thanks for the help, looks like I'll be better off buying equipment seperately.
