    Hi Folks,

I need a range but am on a tight budget.

I guy I know has just taken out a tirolia solid fuel range, which was fitted with a new boiler 3 years ago. Its out of his parents as they are getting on a bit so are replacing with an oil stove and also getting storage heating.
They all swear by the tirolia an say how good it is. Its about 13 years old, white, an looks great. Its mine for 200 euro.I believe it can heat quite a few rads. I have ao in my house. The problem is my plumber has never heard of it. Has anyone out there ever had one? Or know of it?

    Thanks a lot,

    John

yeah, common enough a few year ago, wouldnt be as good as a stanley, but for 200 quid, and if u get e few years from it , might'nt be a bad deal. not a easy boiler to change though, very little of the cooker left when out on the floor

Did you fit the Tirolia solid fuel range? Did you manage to get spare parts for it anywhere? If so I would appreciate the details of how and where if you did. Thanks

You might find that parts you need at Dineen Refactories they seem to have all the bits that burn out through use. If you try them let us know how you get on.
