I recovered the roof in a civic before in leatherette, I got it in Hickeys the fabric shop.
They also sold a special glue for fabric too that I used.

It was easy enough to do with the roof liner out and never sagged over the time I had the car either.

easy Job depending on the car, should have a walkthrough somewhere, its for a civic but it will give you a general idea

I'd say try ebay, even entering in 'roof lining' showed 178 results.
You might even get lucky and find something pre-cut/shaped or a company who'll do it for you.

I've bought lots of fabrics off there even from china,
provided you don't go for the cheapest option you won't be disappointed.

I found the likes of hickeys where ridiculously expensive,
