ccant use my korg legacy collection in logic

    im having trouble trying to use my korg legacy collection in logic.,when i open a instrument track and i go to my instruments its not in there, what do i do, its really annoying me !!!!!

    I'm guessing that you need to find your plugin folder and put the Korg Legacy Collection files in there. Restart Logic and see how it goes from there.

    where would i find that i typed plug ins for logic and the come u i my hard drive but were do i drag them to

    Try and find this folder on your hard drive:

    Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components

    Drag the Korg files into that.

    and then will it show up in my inserts in my mix window ??

    Is it an instrument plugin like a synth or an effect like distortion,chorus,flanger,compressor?

    Did you put the files in the folder I mentioned? If you did, it should be there when you try to open it in Logic.

    cant even fid the file on my mac!!!


    theres no library

    i went to audio but no place for plug ins

    Can any Logic users help? I can only do so much when I don't have Logic :).

    i think the route is application support,logic,plugins(not at my mac so not 100%)

    just a question but are you sure the software is AU format and not vst.logic only reads AU.

    It is AU. I have mine working in Garageband, so it should also work fine in Logic. AVA, run the latest installer, you can log in to your korguser.net account to get it. The new version is challenge/ response authorised, the dongle is no longer supported. That's a good thing, it frees up a USB port.

    I don't know what a loader for Logic is. Can you explain?
