    mine is acting up,very low water pressure,i tried cleaning the head but no help,could the filter be blocked,anyone kniw whereabouts it is in the unit??

    It sounds like the filter alright.
    Switch off the mains electric supply to the unit at the fuse board.
    Turn of the water supply to the shower unit, its usually in the attic from the tank or in an adjoining hotpress.
    Remove the front cover from the shower unit.
    The filter is located on the bottom left-hand side behind a black plastic hexagonal cover.
    Unscrew the black plug, but be careful to support the connection from the water pipe to the shower unit so as not to strain and damage it.
    Remove the metal gauze filter and clean under running water with an old tooth brush. When its cleaned put everything back in reverse order.

    new problem now.i have no power to the shower at all.and mcb isnt tripped.anyone any idea if it looses power if element burns out or something?think ill just get a new one.very annoying.

    So is power is coming through the pull cord switch....

    This is an unusal problem. You will just have to use a tester and check from the pull cord switch forward to the shower

    I have no light anymore at the pull chord switch and no power at the shower.it went for a few seconds and just stopped.thanks for the reply it is a weird one.ill have to do as you said and check for power at a few places.

    If you have no power at the pull cord switch this is where i would start...

    Obv be very careful. Its a lot of electricity passing through there.
