How many levels are you looking for? How many chairs are you hoping to get on each level / in total?

Glad you cleared up that typo - I was wondering was it a Ghost Rider or an Easy Rider that you were looking for....!!:p

    hahaha silly Kate!

    Here's a few more details,
we need seating for about 200 people,
we really don't mind how many levels, and it's going to be in Filmbase if that helps give you a better idea!

Thanks so much for the reply Rogue-Trooper!

Is this the the kind of thing you are trying to achieve?

Not really the way to go to be honest. The staging sections take up too much floor space and you only end up loosing valuable seating room. You are also creating a hazard for your guests - to get up there is awkward and dangerous and you need to handrail it to keep it legal and safe and that's where it starts to get complicated.

Why do you want to tier the seating? Is if because you have limited floor space or is it sightlines? If it's sightlines why not leave the seating in a standard theartre-style configuration and just raise the height of the screen?

If you want to do tiered seating you really need to do it with a proper seating rig. Talk to Eventserv (01 5055888 / www.eventserv.ie) - they are the experts on hiring temporary tiered seating. The rigs are modular so they can make it as big or small as you need depending on floor space / roof height. It ain't cheap though.......:o

    Good luck with the event!
