    Hi all,

I'm in the research stages of setting up a business & I want to market through facebook, Ideally I'd like to also be able to take payments through paypal. Is it possible to take paypal payments through a facebook page ? to integrate it so that I'd be able to use facebook as my storefront as it were ?

Have you looked at 'payvement'? It appears to be the most popular option for e-commerce on facebook. You can certainly run a 'facebook online shop', just not sure about how easy it is to link it through to paypal or any complications it might cause (given the popularity of payvment, I assume there's a reason for this).

+1 on cost alone you wouldn't even consider paypal

I'm not sure I fully understand this. Payvment uses the Paypal API, so it's just an application that makes the integration easier but you're still paying the paypal fees. (Or at least that was my own understanding of it, please do correct me if I'm wrong)

Payvment provides a shopfront, if you mean something to produce/upload the listings and present them (although full HTML customisation available and would probably lead to higher conversions/sales if used well). If you check out some of the video tutorials on the site it might give you a better idea of what it can do.

If you mean is there another application called 'shopfront'? I'm pretty sure I've seen the name, so there possibly is. Personally I'd go with the more well known name, for the same reasons you intended to go with paypal to begin with. If I see payvment on an account, I instantly know the name and gains some level of trust.

Vendor is a Facebook application that allows you to create a shopping cart and add it to your Facebook Page.

You can sell your products now straight from your Facebook Page with this FREE app.

No HTML needed & secure payment through Paypal.
