    No way, Commander Keen! :D

It's a pretty good deal. Sadly, the ones I don't have are the ones I don't want. A bargain for anyone who hasn't got them though.

Great deal for those who don't have those titles.

Morrowind being the best of the lot, of course :D

already have morrow and oblivion. Will wait to buy Fallout when it inevitably gets its own discount in the next 3 days.

same as :) I was raging that I missed it during the last sale, and when I went on amazon and steam to look for it it was ridiculously expensive (for the goty edition with all the dlc) and to just see it there on steam for 8.49

    *awesome*

I've never actually played it, but after dragon age and fallout 3 i'm looking forward to some good rpg'ing

See I had the original by errr.... borrowing it from many different people and never made it past getting to the first directed place. I've uninstalled and reinstalled loads of times and something stops me playing :) I'm trying again now, we'll see how it goes. If nothing else it does always seem to draw me back.

Call of Cthulhu out creeps it, but it's a Bethesda game and fingers crossed will turn up in the sale. Still well worth it's full price of €9.99 though.

I thought steam would have done better than that. Maybe 75% off. I got it on amazon for €10 cheaper last week. I'm in no hurry to play it though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

    Yeah but Digital-vs-disk, etc.

For the same price I could get it on xbox 360 so id rather sit on the couch.

Is the 360 version a proper port(Controller vs mouse and performance wise)?

Hopefully my laptops HD5650 can run it. Also would I have to have played the old fallout games to appreciate this one? (Sorry for all my questioning its one series I know nothing about!)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,710 ✭✭✭Monotype

You'll be fine with that. That's better than what's in the consoles. You may need to tweak some of the settings to suit you best, but it should run fairly well.

You don't have to have played the old fallout games. I didn't and enjoyed it a lot. You'd probably get more references and understand more of the background, but it's not necessary.

    Quake collection: 7.50

Worth it Y/N? I haven't played a Quake game in my life.

    Eh, nvm. Bought it anyway.

^^ It's a good deal since Q1-3 is not really available as a whole anywhere. Well, a good deal if you actually play them, although there's many alternatives now built on Q3 since it's open source.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Do people still play Quake 1 online? Feckin loved that game back in the day.

Go to Top Sellers, I think it's number 4. Although having got them myself, I'm not sure it's worth the bother. The three games have aged terribly, are horrible to set-up and try to play online and you'd be better off just playing online at www.quakelive.com for free instead.
