Loss of sound on Kubuntu

    Hi All
    I'm a total noob on Kubuntu. Have it installed via Wubi and have to say I very rarely boot into Windows :)
    However.
    Yesterday the sound went on my system..... except for flash. (I still have audio on YouTube etc)
    It's giving me an error when I start up an mp3 in Amarok...HDA Intel (STAC92xx Analog) is not working
    Anyone got any ideas for a solution?
