Tons of Fun in the Eastway Business Park, Tipperary Road, Limerick is an activity centre for children aged 0 to 11 years

Cinema options include the Limerick Omniplex, Crescent Shopping Centre in Dooradoyle and Storm cinema which runs a Kids club on a Saturday mornings

The Adare Heritage Centre is situated in the pictuesque village and allows to experience this area’s history, spanning the years from 1233 to the present day. A Guided Tour of Desmond Castle is available also.

Bunratty Castle is one of the most popular places to visit in the southwest and it is the most authentic medieval castle in Ireland and is fully restored inside. Within its grounds is Bunratty Folk Park where 19th century village and rural life are recreated. Traditional crafts are carried out in their natural setting and visitors can also see characters/animators depicting 19th century life

Foynes Flying Boat Museum is a good one for the kids.

King John's Castle in the city is worth a visit, and has great views of the city.

FunWorld on the Ennis Road, has arcade games, pool tables and a bowling alley.

If they are into the outdoor activites check out Kilfinane outdoor Education Centre http://www.kilfinaneoec.com/
or The University of Limericks Activity Centre http://www.ulac.ie/

Thomond Park has an excellent interactive museum and tours
