DPD tracking a parcel.

Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place but I want to track a parcel off the company dpd, however when I enter the comsignment number online it says its found no matching consignments. Am I entering the number in wrong or?

When was it shipped? It might take a day or so for the tracking to appear online.

It turns out my consignment number only works on the dpd.co.uk site as the company im dealing with is based in england. one more question, If i chose to change the delivery location (somewhere other than my house as I may be away) how would I go about it? I might send the parcel to my relatives house as I may be away when the parcel is due back. Do I ring dpd ireland or england to arrange a delivery location change?

You can't change the delivery address once it's in transit, unless you get lucky or can get to speak with the delivery driver. Rare, if ever will that happen.

If the delivery address is in the same DPD depot area, there should be no problem. - Just call the local depot and they'll be able to sort you out. - local numbers are on www.dpd.ie

dpd will store it your nearest depot for 5 days anyway before returning to sendeer

if its a purchase they might not be keen on changing the delivery address because most companies only deliver to the address filed with the credit card used to mamke the purchase
