    Hi all,

I got home yesterday so find my wife has signed up for the 7 meg with phone package from Imagine.

After a lil search i'm not getting the best feeling about them, plenty of problems it seems.

Does anyone else use them in the Midlands?
Does there wifi router have a few ethernet ports in the back?

    Thanks
    Joe

Is this DSL over the phone or Wimax?

    It's Wimax.

    Thread diverted to Midband so.

Imagine Wimax is a mobile technology, quite like 3G, that can give high speeds but will be dependant on a completely uncontrollable contention. There are lots of threads in this forum about Imagine Wimax, some good, some very bad.

It may work well for you, but there's no way to know before trying it. If things look bad, keep records of how bad it is as you'll need that get out of t he contract, should it come to that.
