Hi folks, Audiomidi have put the Toontrack Drumtracker Drum Replacer on sale for 20 Dollars.

    It's normally 149 Dollars.

    See details here http://www.audiomidienews.com/audiomidienews/2010/8/10/no-brainer-deal-toontrack-drumtracker-drum-replacer-85-off-j.html

    Rock

That's a clever little product... great for re-working old loop/refill libraries

Toontrack are also doing an offer on EZ Drummer expansion packs (which can also be used with Superior Drummer).

Doesn't seem to work as a VST, or am I missing something?

It's a standalone. It not supported (yet) on 64-bit platforms either. Works ok with one input track but adding/editing more than one track with Win 7 64-bit is a nightmare as there is a huge time delay switching between say a kick and snare track which makes it too frustrating to use (for me at least). The interface is a bit quirky and the engine probably needs improvement to take away some of the manual work but if you put the needed time/effort in to it you could get some great results.

Why'd you have to post that Rock?... now I've just talked myself into buying the Electronic EZX & the Latin percussion EZX library packs to use with Superior Drummer. Bang goes my New Year's resolution not to buy any new gear/software in 2010! .. still, I lasted till August, so that's pretty good going...

I expect our next track will be a "percussion heavy" dance track :D

Yoda, you have/had great will power. 8 months without a purchase? That's pretty impressive. I don't think PB would approve though:D

Looks like pretty useful purchases though.
