Went out last Monday night, the town was dead. Was not worth our while...

Used to be there'd be at least one place there'd be a semi decent crowd any night of the week, town is dead 5 nights a week now. Thursdays may have a few people around but even the last time I went out on Sunday most of the bars in town were empty. Icon is open every night its probably the only place that will have a few people mon-thur.

Don't know where ye are going lads but Nancys is pumping from Thursday to Sunday every week.

Will be jammers there again tonight.

I would say go to Nancys on Monday night and then head to the Icon. Nothing else open I'm afraid.

Angel lane is closed on a Monday. Freshers wont be back during the repeats

smyths would still be buzzin is say tho and icon, possibly head to micky martins before hand too

Went out last Thursday. Shockingly quiet. Handful of people in Micky Martins and when I went to Costelloes there was nobody there - Not one person! Eventually around 1ish about 30 Spanish students showed up.

    Limerick is a disaster.

The repeat exams are the same week as graduation in UL, so there will be a great buzz around UL and the city all that week.
I'd say go to Nancy's and work from there.

I'm not so sure how many women in the engineering depts, but there ought to be people out all week long regardless! :)

I went into town with a few of the lads at 12:30 on Monday night. We got a taxi up as far as Costello's, got out and saw it was locked. Lights out, nobody home. We walked as far as Molly's and the only other place open along the way was the Icon (which none of us has ever enjoyed). Molly's wasn't too bad, but it's boring going there when we've been in the place so many times before.

The variety should pick up again once the college crowds come back, but until then there's very little to choose from.

Its gone bad for going out in Limerick, only place people will go is nancys and the Icon.if your in a mixed group Nancys wont let ya in and the Icon is like a McNightclub so people just go there from half 11 onwards and dont bother with the bars anymore

If you go out in town tonight the bars will be dead but go to the Icon willl be packed with 400 or 500 cause Thursday is ladies night

I think monday nights are big with the Art college/Mary I crowd in Costellos and Dolans/Clem smiths seem to have a crowd i drove past a few monday nights students around

All the young crowd go to Ballybunion

heard they did away with Monday night madness ... was causing alot of disturbance in the town

Most people I know can just about scrape together to go out one night at the weekend and even at weekends alot of pubs in the city centre are struggling for numbers. I'd say Monday night drinking is a luxury most people do without these days.

I very much doubt that Costello's would even be open on a Monday night during the Summer. Bakers will have about 5 people in it.

Molly's or The Icon will probably be your best bet.

There's Trinity rooms too possibly but hopefully you have more taste than that :p

Still plenty of single women in there man. Just have to chat to them. A lot of the fellas in there just hang together and dont go near the women.

Where do you go so to find the single ladies??
