Ivan Smagghe returns to his Dublin residency to play a special 4 hour set at The Underground following a couple of killer single releases via his "It's a fine line" project with Tim Paris. Firstly the ardent electro-disco classic for History Clock, "Woman" and the deliciously skewed/brilliantly titled "Never go with a hippie to a second location". Then their latest EP was the single od the month in DJ Mag's disco reviews section with 9 out of 10 stars. Anything but linear, both tracks "Do the hot tar" and "Bachbeat" move in a wonderfully idiosyncratic fashion; melodies with curdled time signatures snake around peculiar; vintage style house rhythms and unusual disco effects. We are thrilled to once again welcome back a man who is no stranger to the weirder and wonderful sounds of the dancefloor!
