vodafone v 02

    I switched from 02 to vodafone, i really didnt want to move but wanted to get iphone4 so thought it would be ok


    just wondering what is there an app similar to the MY ACCOUNT app that 02 had?

    Also, when there is no 3g signal, it switches to ''o'' is that of simialr speed to the E (Edge) 02 signal?

    the vodafone website is shocking compared to 02, cant even import contacts that greatly like 02 allows a sync

    Vodafone website is a Shambles.

    No edge on Vodafone so if you don't have 3G it goes to GPRS (o)

    Not sure about an app similar to my account.

    so edge is faster than gprs id imagine?

    i cant find details of roaming charge for data.
    some parts of the site says data roaming allowance of 2gb inc roaming, so does that mean its free as long we u dont go over the 2gb in a month allowance?

    Yeah Edge is at least twice as fast as GPRS.

    Your best bet regarding roaming charges is to pose that question on the Vodafone section.

    I'm sure one of the Vodafone reps will be able to clarify that.

    Thread about it here.

    It seems that allowing you to use your 2GB data roaming is promotional - although nobody in Vodafone is willing to confirm when it might end. There is speculation however that it might end on 30th Sept (see thread above).
