What do you make of the Pope refusing the resignations of the bishops in the abuse issue?

While many who sish for the downfall of the church are making a political football of the victims, those of us who count ourselves proud Catholics must stand up and be counted and say the church must survive, but the culprits must be made responsible.

Christs words were "to God whats his, and the same to Caeser", and law and order is definitaly Cesear, so they cant hide behind Church law.

They should be defrocked, and handed over to the authoritites. That counters the image of priests being persecuted.
