Can you get teapots for loose tea that you can leave on a cooker to keep warm? The glass ones break even at the lowest setting

Wouldn't your bog standard stainless steel teapot do the job?

Better yet, get thyself a tea cosy!

Are you using something like this at the moment?

You could just brew in this teapot and transfer to a scalded stainless steel teapot to keep on the stove. I would prefer to use a tea cosy myself rather than continually heating the tea, just as you would do better to keep coffee in a thermal caraffe rather than in a jug on a hot plate.

When it comes to tea pots:
Think Old style Posh Silver ones, make the Tea taste delicious.
Think Porcelain Bone China Teapots and cups enhance taste of Normal (Assam/Breakfast Blend)
Cast Iron Teapots can keep Tea hot for a long time & you can get with tea warmers.
I would be conscious not to have over brewed tea, can taste absolutely mank or as FTGFOP suggested Tea Cosy BUT remove Tea leaves when brewed to strength you like..otherwise Bitterness Mank again!

Both can be pricey to be honest. Silver Teapots make Black Teas taste yum. Check out Antique places or Charity shops for a bargain. Or the Cast Iron can be priced anything from 40 to over 100 euros, traditionally used for Green teas but can be used for any type of tea. Wouldnt recommend using the same teapot for Black & Other teas. Keep one tea dedicated for your regular black tea and a Glass teapot or Cast Iron for the other teas you drink. In my humble opinion anyway...

Am looking for a silver teapot, the heavy kind, not the light stainless ones that you'll get in most hardware shops etc. Herself wants one and an antique tea set for xmas. I've drawn a blank so far, even looked at Avoca etc to no avail. Any ideas on where I can get same? :)
