how to lift red dot sight above front sight

    hey guys just wondering im getting a g and g gr15 raider
    but i know that the front sight gets in the way of a red dot sight what can i get to lift it above it as i dont want to take a hacksaw to the front sight.
    please help:(

    there should be a way of taking off the front sight the one on my m4 is held in py 2 pins that have to be tapped out to remove it

    no it cant be removed on the g&g without the whole barrel.

    Yes. No involvment with said site just where I got my raider and red dot and 2nd item is what I got to raise it over the end sight.

    I have never seen or used item 1 so not sure what it does.

    Phone call to retailer may help

    i own that gun, you will need to buy a riser mount about 20 quid ish from shops and you can mount what ever you like and it will clear the front sight

    Just a short warning. Don't buy a riser from Ehobby Asia. I did. It's rusty and wobbles. I fixed the wobbling but the rust... well I cannot even complain about it as it seems to be a standard feature: it's visible on the product photo on their website: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ea-qd-riser-mount-base-for-20mm-rail-short.html
