    Hi All,

Anyone have any tips on a nice church near LoughRynn? Most will be coming from Dublin so something not too far off the Dublin Road/LoughRynn Radius would be great! Also can anyone recommend a good photographer nearby? Thanks a million!!!

op, you don't specify what denomination the church should be?!!

my sister [wedding florist] did flowers for a couple last year who had their ceremony in the catholic church in arigna and their reception in lough rynn. i gave her a hand that day and it's a lovely building in a pretty setting and not too far from the hotel. although afterwards i spoke to a guest who wasn't too impressed with the hotel - bar closed early, function room was freezing and they couldn't get over how small and plain the rooms were for the price... but that's just the opinion of one i suppose.

as regards a photographer - there's a guy in carrick on shannon who did my mate's wedding - sean duignan, and his wife did the video . i've no idea how expensive he was but his stuff was good - maybe a little too traditional for my taste though. or david knight in boyle. also i've recently seen an ad for a guy called peter neil on facebook - lovely work and he travels nationwide. bit more modern and fresh than the usual trad stuff. or.... you could put an ad in the ''services wanted'' section of the photography forum and see who replies - lots of really good pro wedding photographers hang out there. this link explains how to do that.

hope at least some of that helps!! :)
