Ive tried Debenhams, pulse, monsoon, and claires's...........
Im looking for Midnight blue/navy feather/fascinator.
With all the weddings all summer and the races etc them seem to be well picked over.......
Anyone got any other suggestions as to where I could try????
I can easily access Donegal, Derry, Sligo, Galway, Limerick or Dublin!

Try Allure in Quayside in Sligo. They have some beautiful unusual accessories, I got lovely feathers for a wedding in there before and got loads of compliments. Its at the back entrance, near next and mauds.

I recommend http://www.etsy.com/shop/KissCurl - its where I got mine a couple of years ago and I couldn't recommend her more!

Tootsie Royale. She'll create anything you are looking for.
Note: Declareing an interest here. Toots is a friend of mine but I still figure her for being one of the best sources for custom made facinators.

Edit:  Just noticed that Mrs.Goat and I are in one of her Gallery pics. Form an orderly queue, autographed pics are available but I charge extra for kissing babies.

Wow tootsie looks really cool, bold and out there...

That etsy site is so pretty and intricate! :)

If you would be brave enough to experiment yourself you could maybe try hickeys? You could maybe take some fabrics, ribbons, buttons and bows and mix them together?

Or else you could try ebay!

My friend got a gorgeous fascinator from ebay on the cheap. She was the talk of the night with a little tophat and lace coming over her face from it. Absolutely gorgeous for like €12!!

Two FAB websites! Just had a browse around them both. How cute!
A bit over budget though for me! Was hoping to spend 20-30 euro max!
Im loving the Hickey's idea! Think there is one in Galway! Might pop in tomorrow and see how I get on!
O and scut im heading to Sligo in morn and looking for to popping into Allure! Have been in the Quayside several times but have never noticed that shop!
    Thanks for all your ideas!

Hm, I think you'd be spending a similar amount in Allure, I love going in there for a browse but it can be very pricey. Alternatively they have loads of lovely hair combs in there at the moment, so if you had a hairstyle that would show them off it would be equally as nice.

    Hi all
I have a big family wedding coming up in May and even though I dont have a dress bought (yet) I am doing a little research on Fascinators from Ebay website.....anybody have any thoughts on it? Or have ordered them etc....all help and suggestions greatly welcomed :)

I have bought a few pieces on ebay and have been very happy with them, I have even had samples of the fabrics, feathers etc sent to me before hand to make sure the colours work with the dress (and it works out much cheaper in most instances)

I made my own fascinator for my debs. I found feathers in hickeys which had little fake diamonds on them and they had wire on the ends were and I bought a clear comb and, hey presto, a fascinator for less than €7!
