Importing airsoft guns into ireland?

My cousin lives in the uk and doesent play airsoft anymore but i want to buy his guns off him, does anyone know any legal issues with importing them, they are below 1 joule:confused:

There should be no issues getting these airsofts in as long as they are under 1j. There is no embargo on personally importing airsoft devices (yet).
