    Hello Musicans,

I am nearing the end of a sound engineering course and am looking to line up as many recording sessions for bands, soloists playing any instrument(s). All recording will be done on Pro Tools and will be fully certified, also logic certified too.

Remember, this is free of charge (unless I have to travel) so as to build up experience. I'm looking to fill up the diary for whe I have the course completed (4-5 weeks).

The one thing that I request is that you or the group you are in are competent at your instrument. i.e play along to a click track or strum in time! etc etc ya catch me drift anyway.....

I'm based in Kildare so Laois, offaly Kildare is my main catchment area for the moment but I'd be willing to drive around Dublin...... Anywhere outside that, you can pay me petrol expenses.....

PM me and I will send you my contact details and we can talk then!

    Ciao

    Really..... not appealing?

I must have hit a nerve on the competency side, apologies if I offended you.

"came on strong with it" elaborate.....

If he was offering you a €20 note you wouldn't be complaining.

    Or maybe you would!

I'd rather see someone with enthusiasm than some lad chancing his arm for a bit of cash.

off.the.walls, weren't you moaning about an entire DAY in Electra studios for €100 as being too much, and because it wouldn't involve mixing and mastering?

Given that you yourself are embarking on a sound engineering course, I'm puzzled (although not really) by your apparent hostility to other studios/engineers simply doing what no doubt, you will be up to in the foreseeable future. I know you've mentioned getting better results in your shed studio, but seriously, why the need to rain on other people's projects here? Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you need to share it when it has nothing valuable to add whatsoever.

I'm no stranger to pointing out faults and voicing criticisms but learn to see the genuine from the bogus or suspiciously veiled. The OP is looking for some collaboration concerning his studies. Very simple really.

Your post added nothing but a deliberately vague critique of his offer in order to pat yourself on the back. Please, cop on. And don't try and drag this thread down by engaging in self-justification for why you said it. Just move along and maybe before everytime you post, think; "Does this really need to be said? Because I think so? Or because it will add something useful?"

    Good man.

This should actually be in bold at the start of every forum's charter!
