Could anyone recommend a good laptop in and around 500 euro

Hi - I recently bought a Dell Inspiron from their website. Model 1370 in red. I must say I am extremely happy with this product, 13.3 inch screen, lightweight, built in webcam.
Pais 580 and was delivered in 4 days

recently bought an acer aspire 5542. cost E545 so just a little over your budget.

320 gb hard-drive
4 gb ram
15.6 hd lcd screen
amd athlon II x2 processor
web-cam
dvd burner
HDMI slot (very nice feature because if you have a hd tv you can easily connect your laptop to it and use it as your screen. all you need to do is buy a hdmi cable for about E20)

Would really recommend this laptop.

Or about 3 or 4 quid if you watch bargain alerts or order from Deal Extreme(2-3 wks delivery).

HDMI and DVI cables are extortionately dear here. I've seen 1M cables for €40! Buy online:)
