    Sandisk MicroSDHC 4GB Class 2

    Sequential Read : 10.513 MB/s
    Sequential Write : 3.181 MB/s
    Random Read 512KB : 10.081 MB/s
    Random Write 512KB : 2.193 MB/s
    Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 0.782 MB/s [ 191.0 IOPS]

    Sandisk MicroSDHC 16GB Class 2
    Sequential Read : 20.756 MB/s
    Sequential Write : 6.492 MB/s
    Random Read 512KB : 20.292 MB/s
    Random Write 512KB : 0.999 MB/s
    Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 4.298 MB/s [ 1049.4 IOPS]


    Someone asked for me to benchmark the stock MicroSD card issued against those bought off ebay. Here are the results.

    What program did you use? I've found JBenchmark on the market but that doesn't give as much detail as yours.

    Crystal Disk Benchmark. Not an Android app. It's a windows program, I just put the sdcard in to a reader and tested it that way.

    It seems to look like it. The difference in read speed is the main speed difference though. Write speed is for all intents and purposes the same on both.
