Dentist retired, need x-ray records

So basically the story is that I went to a new dentist recently, he did some x-rays and noticed a suspicious void behind a crown that I had maybe 4 years ago. He's contemplating opening it up to check it out but before he does he asked me to see if I could get the original x-rays from the dentist who put the crown on in the first place.

However, that dentist <snip> appears to have retired 2/3 years ago so I'm not sure how to go about getting my hands on his records.

    Any suggestions?
