Luas to Ballymount??

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this one. I need to go to ballymount tomorrow morning and I don't have a clue what method of transport to use. I've been told that the red line goes there or near abouts there.

Anyone have any knowledge on this?

It depends on where in Ballymount you are going.

The 56a bus goes through Ballymount but is rather infrequent. Only those buses denoted with an "a" in the timetable (route 56a) below start in the city centre. The others start at Dolphin's Barn Fire Station (route 56).

The 50, 77 and 77a go past one side of Ballymount on Greenhills Road, while the 51b, 51c, 68 and 69 all serve the Naas Road.

The LUAS will leave you with a longer walk than the bus from the Red Cow stop back across the M50.

Bus times are at the following - check out the google maps button above each route's timetable to see where exactly they go and that may be of help once you know exactly where you are going.

The 56A is your best bet if the times allow, but from 8am to 11am, there are no 56As from the city centre. There are not even any 56s from 9am to 1pm

The Luas stop at the Red Cow would be about a 15-20 minute walk at best and then it depends on where exactly you want to go, it's a big industrial estate..

Thanks so much for your help. I've an interview out there at half nine in the industrial estate so I'd say I'll get the luas to the red cow and then grab a taxi for the remainder of the journey.

I'd organise a taxi to meet you at the Red Cow stop...it's a bit out of the way. And the taxi will have a roundabout way still to go. Out onto the N7 to Naas, Belgard Road, Embankment Rd, back over the M50 and then wherever in the industrial estate..give time!
