    Hi,

    Flying to London for the weekend, what is the cheapest options for train tickets in to Stanstead? Buy from Ryanair on the flight, buy at the station, buy online, something else?

    Thanks

    Bloody expensive whichever way you book!

    Return via ryanair website = £24 https://www.stanstedexpress.com/ryanair/Tickets.asp?SID={9913F3C9-D461-44BC-AB85-4153D04345DD}

    Return via Stansted express website = £26.70

    Return ticket at station = £28.70

    Reminds me of a joke -

    Swedish police have released the cockpit voice recording of last week's Ryanair Stockholm-Stanstead hijacking.

    Hijacker: "This is a hijack! Fly to London.
    Pilot: "We're already going to London."

    Hijacker: "Stansted is nowhere near London."
    Pilot: "But it has a convenient express train service to Liverpool Street!"

    Hijacker: "Silence infidel! And don't think I'm paying for this cup of coffee either."

    Meanwhile, security sources have denied earlier reports that the hijacker intended crashing the plane into central London. "No Ryanair plane has ever come within 50 miles of central London," said an MI5 spokesman this morning.
