Spending too much time on Boards

Does anyone ever feel they stare at the screen, aimlessly wandering through threads. Even now I am doing it so decided to set up my own aimless thread.
So what are peoples views? Is it becoming a worse evil than facebook in our lives. Its fascinating to see how you can fix your 96 fiesta, install an aerial on your caravan, wonder how best to ask your girl for a threesome and how to fix your phone without a receipt. And waste 3 hours of your evening............................

its addictive i love it:D
wandering through personal issues such as my Gf is a man stuff like that brightens up the day plus anywhere you can discuss music sport and other interesting things in life is always going to be addictive.

i think Facebook is far worse this at least leads to discussion

Boards, especially AH is getting very boring tbh. Seems to be the same threads all the time. Even Cool vids and pics isn't doin it for me anymore...:(

Some of the stuff that gets posted there is complete and utter sh!te! Videos that arent even remotely funny or interesting in the slightest.

Should get a timer sort of thing for this place. Other forums have it. Basically tells you how long you've been on etc (active ofc).

I think the trick is to get yourself temporarily site banned..

Apparently the way to do that is to find a recent decision that the Admins made that you didn't understand or agree with...
And call them all, a useless sack of bollock tumours..

I am thinking of going on a break from here. Too much time being wasted in the evenings.

My PC's here more than I am, I have it set up to open explorer and boards when I switch it on (plus a number of other sites). Often the kids are on it but I'm still logged in.

Having said that, I'm here longer than could be considered healthy.

Indeed, have to say though that the "You laugh You Lose" thread is probably the best one on boards.

I think the general crowd here are far more educated and interesting to deal with than most Facebookers (which makes sense seeing as everybody is on FB).

Boards is great for quick answers that google or wiki just dont have. Covers any hobby under the sun and hey, when i could use a laugh, or just have a "Im going to kill you Callely" moment, i can dip my wick in after hours. Long may the site continue.:)
