Just wondering is it more expensive to put the extractor fan over the island or would i be better putting it on the outside wall?

The extractor fan itself will cost more over the island. Cheapest I could find was about €600.

The install is just a duct across ceining void to wherever in the island you need it so the extra cost will be minimal enough once you make the decision early enough. i.e. before slabbing...

    Mike.

Thanks Mike. I thought that the fan might be a little dearer alright
