    I'm in Sligo,
Lyngsat doesn't have a footprint and satBeams shows that beam is for the Indian ocean, but that cant be right.

So so strange, I get nothing, zero signal ive tried 3 receivers incase one of my receivers was not picking that freq up

Can the signal drop off so much in such a short distance??

Is that transponder on the bird that failed? I think it may be. I know not all transponders failed at the time but the power may be getting weaker. My 88cm may be just too small for my location.
I think the W3B will take its place, it due to launch later this year.
Only thing my sub is up in Janurary and I wont be renewing

1.1m in Wexford is getting all the channels on that transponder ranging from 30%-36%. Not the best at all. At least they're there though!
Pretty much all the other Digitalb channels (that I checked anyway) are coming in at around 70%.

So it proves how much that signal drops off. Doesn't matter what i do with the dish i cannot even register a signal on that transponder. With the weaker 1 west K1 beam i was able to tweak the dish to bring them in.

I had great difficulty getting this transponder. I have a 1 metre dish and spiderbox HD9000 with v box (Isle of Man).

Eventually had to go in the motor settings on the Spiderbox and tweak the dish with the V box control. Eventually got the channels Film Aksion etc but only at strength of 30% and this can drop of in some weather conditions.

All the other Digitalbs are sound.

Is no-one having any difficulty picking up the transponder that has the channels hd1 hd2 hd3 and natgeo hd. I lost them in January and have never got them back. The frequency is 10975H 27225 2/3. As regards the film channels I can receive them on a good day with a 100cm in the North West. But I cannot get them in any rain.

Just done a scan on this transponder and its come in for me (no pic but the signal is reasonable) at 34%. Channels there are as you indicated HD123 and Nat Geo.

The T channel on 11.658 is in the clear eventhough it has the $ sign. 37% with no breakup AzBox 1.1m dish in Dundalk but would probably be marginal in bad weather. Also getting Top Gold Radio.

    Only 27% on 10.975.
