    Hi guys!

I know there is already a similar thread in here but it doesn't really fit what I need so I am hoping for a bit of help.
So it's my girlfriend's 18th next month and she is looking for a venue in the city centre where she can book a private room for the party(not just a sectioned area if at all possible).

Would really appreciate any help you guys may have.
    Thanks!

P.S. Number of guests would be 25-30 so it doesn't need to be huge.

op i celebrated my 22nd in Angel Lane, I rang a guy called Danny (friends on facebook with angel lane).

I had to cancel last minute but he was saying bring 15 or more and they will give you free entry into the club for yourself and a few of your closest friends, free champagne and i think there was free food offered, i didnt want them to quarden off and area especially for me and the friends so he said it would be in an area by the bar where people are free to roam around if they want.

Everything is free so you might as well! its a class club too

Well some of the suggestions I were given would be helpful, I liked the idea of private suites :)
or I saw where Molly Malones which would be ideal for an 18th, advertise on the limerickentertainment.ie site, a free function room with private smoking area, exemption until 2.30 am as well as a resident dj.complimentary finger food buffet, And offers Complimentary limousine hire for bookings in 2010.

The Bailey also have a fab private room, nice pics of it on their FB page.

Angel Lane is over 21s so wouldn't be suitable for an 18th birthday party.

The Absolute hotel have a decent private room that can be extended or reduced depending on the numbers. There's a private bar area outside the room. We're using it soon for a surprise 60/80th birthday party.

The Bailey is a good venue, been to a shindig there myself, not too big for a group of the OP's size. Separate room, split level, bathrooms, finger food too iirc. Worth a look.

if the private room in Mollys is the top floor, I wouldnt recommend it, was at a aparty there once and it wasnt any good.

Old crescent rugby club have a nice set up. Bar, dancefloor, dj box and a good smoking area. And a bar extension is available. Was at a few 18ths there back in the day (2-3 years ago :p)
