'Dexter Is Delicious' on The Book Shelves Now

Everything's changing for our friendly neighbourhood serial killer. As if getting married wasn't enough to complete his nice-guy persona, Dex is now the proud father of a baby girl. And disconcertingly, he actually seems to care. But even if fatherhood is distracting Dexter from his midnight excursions to rid Miami of a few more lowlifes, there's no let-up at work....

    Really enjoying it!

I finished reading it about a week ago. I'm not enjoying the books as much as the TV series since the first book!
I especially don't like that he has become a bumbling sidekick in his own books, who needs to be rescued more times than Olive Oil in a Popeye cartoon!!!

Hmm, I can't even remember if I finished "Dexter by Design".

Agreed fully, I'm not a big fan of the books to be honest. Dexter By Design was a big improvement on Dexter in the Dark, but that wouldn't be very hard. I'll probably pick this up all the same though.

Quite enjoyed the book, some great twists and one or two poor ones. Brian at the start and Brian at the end we're very good. The little blurb on the front is also nice in relation to the detail aka file being shredded.

Dexter need's to be more in control, which the epilogue kind of implies how the moon is stronger than ever. Leads into the next book hopefully and back to the origins of the first book with a few interesting kills as opposed to the ancient god etc. I did find dexter by design and DID quite interesting and loved how they effectively blamed twilight!!
