My top 3 would be: 1 TNT (Q.A.S. Own brand), 2; excels and 3 would be G&G, all are excellent quality and consistancy widely avalible and come in a variety of weights, and won't break the bank!

I'm a big fan of Excel myself. I use their .23g for almost everything, or .25g if it's particularly windy.

G&G: I've also found to be very good in both .2g and .25g

Biovals: I use occasionally, not too often. Lately they're my choice for garden plinking, simply because, well, they're bio.

Blasters (white version): Pretty good too, haven't had many issues with them. They cause the odd jam in one of my guns, but it does have a 6.01mm barrel in it so it's to be expected.

Blasters (black or green): Beyond diabolical. They're as bad as the cheap-and-nasty yellow ones you get in toy shops. Avoid like the plague.

ICS: I've only used these in .25g but found to them be decent, no troubles at all.

Walther/Umarex: I've found these to be decent also, though the tubs annoy me somewhat. Maybe that's just from being used to the bottles and bags of the other brands.

Q-Bullets: Fairly pants. You might get two or three bottles in a row that are fine, then another bottle that's complete muck. Generally speaking, I'd avoid.

Raptors: I've never used them but I've heard some horror stories about them (and seen some of the results).

Madbull: I've only used their tracer rounds, but they seemed consistant. I'm not sure if anyone stocks their regular rounds here.

Weights are a personal thing. Some never go off .2g, others keep giong to heavier and heavier types.
Heavier rounds travel slower, so take longer to get to their target, and given how slow they are anyway, that can be fairly annoying if you're not used to them. The advantage of heavier rounds is they tend to be more accurate outdoors, due to being less prone to being effected by the wind. Snipers commonly use .25g and above for this reason. For regular AEG's, .2g to .25g is generally ideal, with .2g being more suited to GBB's as a pistols relatively short range means wind usually is less concerning than speed.

I recommend start with .2g and then try .25g. You'll notice the difference between the two and be able to decide from there which you prefer.

had lots of issues with raptors spent half a day at redbarn constantly removing jams in my G36 , like G&Gs .20 and 25s in my mauri l96 and 4.3 pistol

I use G&G .25 BIOs mostly and never had any probs with them.
i got some blaster devil .28s to try out in the sniper [so far only used in the garden] i have found them to be slightly larger then the G&Gs
    ie
fill my double stack pistol mag with G&G they move freely up as i fire, with the blasters they kinda jam and i need to remove the mag and fiddle round to get them feeding agen.

also i would stay away from raptors and defo the ASG ecobb's
the ASGs are the worst iv ever seen, break while filling from a speedloder, break in mid-caps,pistol mags ect as there so soft
and also they break when fireing.
