Can you use Skype on Vodafone?

Hi All. I was just wondering if you could use Skype on Vodafone (mobile broadband) because I heard a few people say that it doesn't work or it's blocked or something. Does anybody have this and if so is this true? If I do get this I will be needing to use skype. Thanks for the help :)

Skype may or may not work on any mobile service even if not blocked. You need real broadband for consistent Skype operation.
