Not sure.. but you can use the alarm feature on it to wake you up.

I dont think so. But it has an alarm.

Sorry. Should have clarified that. For some reason the alarm on my phone just chooses not to go off occasionally for some reason. I have to get up in the wee hours for a flight and just don't trust it and don't fancy forking out for an alarm clock.

To clarify even further (I should have thought this one through), I'm looking for a call like the ones you get in a hotel where a person phones you and waits for you to groggily answer that yes, you are awake. Eircom used to do them but don't seem to any more.

You can get alarm clocks for like two euro... little small cool ones :)

Lift receiver and enter *55* + required time followed by #. eg for a call at 06h00 *55*0600# - for a call at 18h00 use *55*1800#.

Only works on home phones afaik

Times are tough eh! If you give me your number I'll ring you when it's time to get up:pac:

That's a very kind offer but I wouldn't be mad keen on giving my number out. Appreciate it and no offence!

Thanks for the offers people. Not sure if 3.30am on a Sunday is the best time to hold someone to the promise of a call so I won't. I'll see if I can get a pal in the US to call me. Or, heaven forfend, fork out the €2 for one of those alarm clocks. Damn sight cheaper than missing a flight.

Do you have a stereo or something? They usually have alarms on them. Even ancient models. Just set the volume high and tune in to some dance station. Obviously test it out a few times to make sure it works though.

Mine must be stone age because it doesn't have one. Thanks though.

Set up a heap of time webtexts to be delivered to your phone at the time you want.

Not a runner. Have a long drive the next morning and am not good on no sleep.

    use your laptop/computer?
search google for alarm software and that will wake you.
