In trying to find a pattern to the problem with 3G dropping on 3 I have come across this info in another thread.

    http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html

Going to this link will give you the following info from your serial number. The serial number can be found in settings-> general -> about, and looks a bit like this. 83029XXXA4S

If any body is willing and able to do this to post the info below. Include also your network, if you are prepay or bill pay and if you've had an trouble (but be brief. We have enough threads on the problems already)

I'm bill pay with 3 and have the 3G dropping problem where it won't or is very slow to switch back. It happens in areas where I know there is good coverage for 3.

my GF is the exact same as me! Same build factory and build week. Same problem!

Starting to wonder if 3 got a bad batch or something, although I know there are as many people on 3 with no problems as there are that have them.

Don't fill in the full serial number here as the last 6 characters are a unique identifier.

    Serial number: 83029XXXA4S
    Name: iPhone 4

Thanks Walkman. Any chance you could post place of manufacture, production number and have you 16 or 32gb?

Trying to get a better overall picture. :)

This seems to have been fixed for me, anyone still not getting the app's displayed correctly. As a test try downloading the 3 Bit Buzz app.
