Ankle cuffs or latex socks?

Hey guys, I have an old typhoon drysuit leftover from work when I was upgraded recently. It currently has safety boots but I'm thinking of changing them so i can use it canoeing etc... Hey guys,

I have an old typhoon drysuit leftover from work when I was upgraded recently. It currently has safety boots but I'm thinking of changing them so i can use it canoeing etc...

I was thinking of changing to ankle cuffs so i can wear booties or just have my feet out but latex socks have been suggested. I've no experience of them but heard they can be warm/awkward...any opinions?
