Netbook iPad equivalent?

Is there any Microsoft based equivalent to the iPad?

I'd like to stick with windows 7 for compatibility and familiarity, I'm hoping the PC can offer me something similar at a lower price.

Obviously my ePenis needs to match up to the wonders of the iPad so that I can avoid being mocked by mac users. Which means multi touch

This is the closest I've found to the iPad on the netbook market but it hasn't been getting great reviews, although many reviews seem to be for the version with win7 home (which doesn't support multi touch) and not this win 7 premium version.

It's still a bit on the pricey side too.

The netbook doesn't need to do anything more powerful than play films and browse the net while I'm on the bog.

Not released yet so no firm price, but promising.

It looks like it'll be hard to tell when that actually comes out production has been start stop from what I can hear.

I'm seriously thinking about getting that ASUS, most reviews are saying with premium it's fairly good.

The HP Slate looks good alright but I read some geek's opinion on it and he was saying it will probably be a bit sluggish because it only has 1Gb of RAM and Windows 7 needs more than that to run smoothly.

AFAIK its not full blown seven, and in any case thats untrue. Without Aero seven can run fine on ancient systems with 512MB. Sure its faster with a gig, but I wouldnt call it sluggish.

In any case, Chromium/a linux distro would be my choice for such a device.
