Mods apologies if this needs to be moved!

Ive just picked an entire new load out on e-hobby asia (US Navy Seals style),
But before I hit the purchase button I wanted to get some wisdom from the boards crowd!

The full load out including, BDU, Belt, Tac Vest, Goggles is costing €110 including shipping.

Has anyone good experiance with this site, or is it a case of you get what you pay for?

    Thanks in advance,

    Robbie

Ehobbyasia are a great site and very reliable.
You will probably be hit with customs on your order.
Happens to me nearly everytime I order from them.

As for gear quality in my opinion you get what you pay for!
Saying that I have bought some cheap stuff that has lasted and other cheap stuff that has literally fallen apart on the first outing. Bad quality control!

retailor - never had a problem with ehobbyasia, some people have had some bad experiance with customer service but these are very much in the minority

items - can only talk generally without knowing the items, but in general i would say you get what you pay for, 110euros for bdu and vest and all the trimming is a low price but i would expect fading and poor sticking as with many of the cheaper products, know these may be fine for your use but i;ve seen to many bdu rip and sticking come away on cheap vests to trust them,

Did have a problem with a faulty battery i got off them, sent them loads of emails, but in the end after contacting them through Arnies airsoft forum they replaced it with a new one so all is good. I think they can just be crap at answering emails.

great site and great service, brilliant to deal with

For that price the BDU is gonna be crap to be honest. As has been said above it'll rip quickly because of weak stitching.

As for Ehobby I feel I have to correct the Rooky - you WILL be hit for customs! They're fast at shipping out (for the last couple of weeks anyway) but can take a day or two to reply to emails. For some reason I always have to hound them for a tracking number for small orders but never with bigger ones.

All in all a good retailer to deal with.

Cheers for the answer lads, would you recommend getting quality BDU in army surplus stores, I want US Woodland BDU, Boonie Hat, and might pick up vests etc online.

And what army surplus stores would you recommend? - I'm in Wicklow / Dublin.

It's really a gamble with E Hobby. You either get lucky and your order is processed and shipped without problems or you can spend weeks trying to contact them if something goes wrong. They simply do not answer emails and they have no contact number whatsoever. I've dealt with them only once as my first order (M4 GBB) was just never sent.

Never arrived..at all??? How much did that cost you?

I dont think I'll have the same issues with customs etc, as the items are all clothing no aeg's or replicas at all!

    What you reckon?

Personally I have ordered from these guys 8 times now and never had a problem. The last order was placed Wednesday 4th of August, dispatched the day after, and even though I picked the cheap "Standard Service" with "10-20 days exclude holiday/custom clearing" for delivery the stuff hit the mat yesterday, only 3 business days later!

Basically, I ordered the GBB and they sent me an email informing me that there may be restrictions shipping to Ireland. I emailed them back saying I checked with customs and everything was fine. They sent another email asking me to forward the email I got from Irish customs and to confirm that I am willing to risk my order being seized etc. I forwarded the email from customs and confirmed that I was aware or the risks and wanted my order sent as soon as possible.

I waited about a week sending emails every couple of days with no reply. I searched the internet for a couple of days looking for a contact number in Hong Kong, they don't have one. I filed a claim with Paypal and got a reply from Ehobby saying customer service should have replied to me by now. After another few days I got a full refund through Paypal with no explanation as to what happened with my order.

Thank f@ck for paypal, I know people complain about their fees but they stuff sorted! - I might risk it, as I really want to get the full kit in one go and it's not a whole lot of money for a load out!

    Cheers for the info lads:

I ordered last week, and recieved full package yesterday, despits taking cheaper postage option.

The gear was all well packaged, and everything is fine.

The quality of BDU Material is ok, but everything else is perfect.

Now to see how long it lasts!
