that a troubling one im gonna be honest. it nearly looks like a musicman body with the hohner neck. does it say anything under the spring guard on the back?

Its definitely not a mix of two guitars, all hohner anyway. Theres no serial number on it anywhere. The trem cavity has a metal plate on its base, there was some damage to the body at some stage, the trem posts shifted, possibly due to a fall. So if it was there its now gone. Thanks anyway!!!

Howeye, It looks like it's one of the Oscar Schmidt designed Hohners - here's a few others, I couldn't find your exact one but a quick email to Hohner would probably sort it.

Ya, its the same shape alright, its a lot older though id say, the guy i bought it from said at least 15 years old, Ive found a few guitars similar in shape but no luck on the actual model yet. Thanks for the input!:)

Had a quick go of ID'ing this. A toughie. #A bit o'googleing and my conclusion...

Definitely part of the same series as the Black Widow and The Flame, which were released around 92. Same headstock design, logo and emblem, same body shape, same trapezoid inlays.
Its gotta be another guitar in this series.

Here's the 2 flame links I found earlier

That, the blackwidow and yours all share those similar features I mentioned previously so I'd assume they are from the same series.
