Opel Vectra 1.7TD 1996 Isuzu Engine

I need to replace the left hand (Passenger) drive shaft in my 1.7TD Opel Vectra (Isuzu Engine).
I have sourced one at a scrap yard but its from a 2ltr Diesel Vectra (Opel Engine)

Will the driveshaft from the 2.0ltr Opel Engine fit my 1.7 ltr Isuzu Engine

    Thanks

measure the length, diameter and count the splines.

Ya they should be the same. The only variation is car's with abs but you should be able to knock the ring off.

by the way the car has ABS

I won't be taking it off and measuring it etc, I just want to know if I should buy it today and give it to my mechanic to fit.
