Anyone experience complete loss of inbox and sent messages?
Wrestling with website for info just seem to be going round and round in circles.
All correct info in correct fields still nothing. Sending no problem?
    Mailbox not suspended by ISP????
Running Mail on G5 iMac Intel 17in 2006
    Any help much appreciated:(

Mail is stored on your local hard disk* in ~/Library/Mail where ~ is an alias for your home directory.

If you have time machine set up to backup your computer, try and do a search on there for the contents of that directory, perhaps?

*If you are using an IMAP server or exchange or some other form of email that's stored on a remote server, you may not have been downloading copies of them to your local machine, so if they are gone, then you may have to contact the service provider to find out if they have backups.
