As most are aware by now there are horrific problems with the iPhone on 3. Just before I cancel my contract can users o n the other networks advise if they have any problems with their operators blocking sites because they deem them unsuitable. This for me is just about the last straw. All sorts of sites are blocked urban dictionary, jailbreakme, xtube (porn), to name but a few. I assume ye don't have this along with all the other bull**** to contend with? U really do get what ya pay for!

O2 do block sites as well. They had imageshack sites blocked last year. They signed up to some European agency who decide what sites are unsuitable and are bound by this agreement to automatically block the deemed sites.
I contacted mods on the 02 forum when some imageshack severs were blocked and restrictions were lifted within a day or so.

Ya but ure with a proper company who actually listen to complaints. I have an o2 mobile bb dongle and have never come across a blocked site. Would o2 have the same filter process for both mobile broadband and smartphone broadband?

I think O2 are quite open actually, often use my iPhone in work to access sites that are blocked in the office.

Sites which are blocked on my o2 mobile bb are not blocked on my iphone4.

o2 do block sites, but all you have to do is use someone else's DNS servers to bypass the blocks.

Meteor hasn't blocked anything as far as I can see. Good 3G in urban areas and happily switches between edge and 3G no problems.

Vodafone are currently blocking a large amount of applications - mainly internet radio and video (e.g. RTE News Now). They claim it to be a technical problem but it's gradually been getting worse over the months.

In my opinion O2 provides the most seamless iPhone experience and they have an EDGE network which Vodafone do not.
